“Global capitalism is nearly there. At the end of the world there will only be liquid advertisement and gaseous desire, sublimated from our bodies. Our untethered sense will endlessly ride escalators through pristine artificial environments. More and less than human, drugged-up and drugged down, catalyzed. Consuming and consumed by a relentlessly rich economy of sensory information, valued by the pixel.
The virtual plaza welcomes you, and you will welcome it too.”
Some sketchbook work regarding the new project I’m working on. Keep checking to see new stuff.

I was recently asked to design the poster for the new film The Pool Party, by Director Michael Demetriou.
I spent a while inking out the water tones to perfection, but found that a scratchy black mess looked alot more ominous. Job done.
“The Pool Party is a short film set in Cyprus and centres around a group of boys who spend the evening hanging out at a friends house, where one of them recieves a mysterious text message.”
The Pool Party will be screening soon at film festivals across London.
It’s been aaaaaaages since my last update, so here’s just one thing I’ve been working on; be assured lots of new material is in the works, and it’s surely the best stuff I’ve done to date.
Here is a small sneak of a recent zine I published in hopes of getting me motivated and engaged with my research for this project. The publication is exploring ideas of iconic image-making, and how symbols and aesthetics of ancient times are still potent and recurring in the present.
I’ve printed loads of copies and you’ll be able to pick them up at my next stall/exhibition. Keep your eyes out for when they’re released on my online shop too!
Peace, love and good vibes

I like design that
1. Is minimal - clean, uncluttered and simple. 2. Is unpolished and organic with elements which show process. 3. Is polished, careful and precise. 4. Is printed. 5. Is decorative and illustrative. 6. Reuses and incorporates old materials. 7. Is from Portland, Oregon. 8. Is purposeful and communicative. 9. Is lighthearted and funny 10. Is personal.
So Rachel Maria Taylor and myself have just re-launched our creative publication and it’s new website: www.anotherescape.com
We have both been working extremely hard on getting this project off the ground since we both graduated earlier this year, and it would really mean so much to us if you could take 5 minutes to check out what we’ve been up to, submit work and or spread the word! Thanks in advance, Jody

A couple of textile-print ideas from my latest project. I never work with pattern, but this turned out alright! Could definitely see them on a dish-cloth in John Lewis.
One of my supreme favourites, Daniel Egneus
